Granadilla:
- the outer shell is similar to a delicate gourd -easy to tear off,
enclosing a sack of gelatinous black seeds.
After removing part of the casing, one sucks the sack to get the juice (slightly sweet) and the seeds, which have the crunchy texture of toasted pumpkin seeds and a slightly tart burst as you chew them.
I think I could get used to it.
That would be similr to granada maybe? Pomegranate...thouh it does not sound like it tastes anything like it
ReplyDeleteWell the innards feel more like a soft sack, rather than structured like a pomegranate. The gelatin is sweetish and mild, the seeds have a little tartness. More like the opposite of pomegranate. :)
